Wagman Heavy Civil Earns Awards

Wagman Heavy Civil Inc. received two awards at the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA) Safety and Infrastructure Awards Dinner, held at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club on April 15. These awards recognize outstanding safety performance and excellence in construction.

Wagman accepted the 2026 Safe Work Practices Award in the Highway/Bridge Construction/General Contractor category for more than 1 million manhours of work performed in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region.

In addition, the company's Nash Road Extension project won the 2026 Excellence in Infrastructure Award Over $20 Million. The $25 million project, located in Chesterfield County, Va., and completed six months early, relieved congestion and improved traffic movement and connectivity between and around Chesterfield's county government offices. The project extended Nash Road (Route 636) by approximately 1 mile, connecting it with Iron Bridge Road (Route 10) by way of a new signalized intersection. The scope also included a roundabout on Nash and Beach roads and a new 600-foot bridge over a portion of Swift Creek.
