A community yard sale and chicken barbecue will take place at East Petersburg Park, 6051 Pine St., East Petersburg, on Saturday, June 6, at 8 a.m. Ten-by-10-foot yard sale spaces are available to rent by visiting http://www.eastpetersburgday.com/community-yard-sale. Renters may begin setting up at 7 a.m.

Each barbecue meal will include a half-chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, a roll, chips, a sweet treat, and a drink. The barbecue is sponsored by Simply Greek at Root's Market, and all proceeds will go toward future events in East Petersburg. To purchase tickets, visit the aforementioned website.
