Millersville University will hold a memorial program on Friday, Sept. 11, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The event will take place at 11 a.m. in front of McNairy Library and Learning Forum, 9 N. George St., Millersville. It is free and open to the public.

The observance will provide a space for community members to come together in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. The program will also recognize the courage and sacrifice of first responders, members of the military, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary service to others in the aftermath of the attacks.
