Concert to Feature Pipe Organ

First Reformed Church, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, will present a concert, "A Pipe Organ Feast," on First Friday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The 30-minute program will feature organist Larry Hershey.

The concert's title comes from the idea that the performance is a figurative feast of pipe organ music. The program will include "For All the Saints" by Leo Sowerby; Carlo Curley's arrangement of "Largo" from Dvoƙak's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World"; and "Variations on 'Christus Vincit'" by Denis Bedard. The concert will conclude with Virgil Fox's arrangement of Bach's "Now Thank We All Our God."

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the church office at 717-397-5149.
