The Octorara cross-country team will hold a fundraising race on Friday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m. The event will include a 5K race, a 1-mile walk, and kids' races. The races will be held entirely on the grass cross-country course located next to Octorara Intermediate School, 221 Highland Road, Atglen.

The top overall male and female runners will receive awards. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade may qualify for the Lancaster-Lebanon League Elementary Championship.

There is a fee for the 5K race with a lower fee for the mile walk. Participation in the children's races is free of charge.
