The library will be closed on Saturday, May 23, and Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Members of the Blanketeers will gather to create blankets of various kinds for Project Linus on Tuesdays, May 5 and 19, at 2 p.m.

Grief Stories will be held on Monday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m.

The library will offer several ongoing programs. These activities include Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, on Mondays, May 4 and 18, at 10 a.m. and Tuesdays, May 12 and 26, at 6 p.m.; Baked Books Club on May 12 at 2 p.m.; Lititz Game Club, for players age 10 and older, on Wednesdays, May 6 and 20, at 4:30 p.m.; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on May 6 at 6 p.m.; Painting Club on Wednesdays, May 13 and 27, at 12:30 p.m.; Lego Club, for children ages 6 to 10, on Saturday, May 16, from 10 to 11 a.m.; Great Decisions Discussion Group on May 13 at 6:30 p.m.; Exploring Growing Together on Thursdays, May 14 and 28, at 11:30 a.m.; Writing Club on May 18 at 1 p.m.; Red Rose Quilters Guild of Lancaster Embroidery Mini Group on May 27 at 1:30 p.m.; Accessible Yoga with Black Cat Yoga on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, May 22, at 10 a.m.; the Lititz Art Association on May 26 at 6 p.m.; and Sewcial Sewing Club on May 27 at 6 p.m.

The Lititz Garden Club will meet on Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. A "Monarchs and Milkweed" program will be presented by Master Gardener Peggy Nepps. No registration is needed.

The featured book for the Spring StoryWalk is "A Little More Beautiful" by Sarah Mackenzie.

During the Paws to Read program, children may read stories to trained therapy dogs. The program will be offered on Saturdays, May 9 and 16, at 10 a.m.

Backyard Storytime will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through May 27. Story time meets on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Veteran's Honor Park, weather permitting. Registration is required weekly.

Structural Engineering with the Lancaster Science Factory will take place on May 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. Children in grades three through eight will work in teams and use craft sticks to build a truss bridge that can carry a load.

Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons will be held on May 12 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The program is for teens, and both beginners and experienced players are welcome.

A concert of Americana folk music will be offered on May 14 at 6:30 p.m.

An Estate Planning and Elder Law Seminar will take place on Thursday, May 21, at 6 p.m. Bellomo & Associates will lead a free community workshop to help clear up the confusion surrounding Medicaid eligibility, long-term care planning, and protecting family assets.

Books, Naturally: A Nature Lover's Book Club will meet on May 26 at 2 p.m. The current book is "Slow Birding" by Joan Strassmann.

Nature Journaling will take place on May 28 at 6 p.m. Attendees will take a leisurely walk near the library, stopping occasionally, for guided nature journaling. Participants will be given a notebook and pencil.
