Library Friends Plan '50s Dance

The Friends of the Moores Memorial Library will host a '50s Dance Night Fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Christiana Fire Company, 214 S. Bridge St., Christiana. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The event will feature Jeff Krick, an acclaimed Elvis Presley tribute artist, performing Elvis hits along with a selection of soft rock and country classics. Food and drinks will be available. Guests are encouraged to attend dressed in their 1950s attire.

The event is open to people age 18 and up. There is a fee for individual tickets, with a discount for sets of two tickets. Tickets may be purchased at Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, via cash, a check, or Venmo. Tickets are also available by calling 610-593-6683. Seating is limited, so advance purchase is encouraged. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the library, helping to provide books, educational programming, children's activities, technology resources, and special community events throughout the year.
