Library Plans Activities

The Village Library of Morgantown, 207 N. Walnut St., has posted its upcoming programs. Additional information is available by calling 610-286-1022 or emailing smolibrary@gmail.com.

Weekly activities include Puzzles and Pals on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m., for people of all ages; pinochle on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., for seniors; and tai chi on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., for adults.

A story time about fireflies will be held on Thursday Aug. 27, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The library will show the movie "Despicable Me 4" on Friday, Aug. 28, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Popcorn will be provided. Attendee may bring snacks, a pillow, a blanket, and other cozy items.

The Common Ground Ladies Book Study will meet on Monday, Aug. 31, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. to discuss "Am I Messing Up My Kids?" by Lysa TerKeurst. Copies are available to borrow, and people do not need to be caught up on the reading to attend the gathering. They may bring their children and a lunch.

A representative of Wellcare will be at the library on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. to answer questions about Medicare Advantage plans.
