Library Event Schedule Posted

Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Road, York, will offer a variety of activities. Preregistration is required for most activities, including virtual programs. Programs will be held via Zoom at 10 a.m., unless noted otherwise. Details and registration are available at http://www.yorklibraries.org.

Digital story times offered will include Babies and Toddlers, for children birth to age 3, on Tuesdays; Preschool, for those ages 3 to 5, on Wednesdays on YouTube; and Virtual Tales of Kindness with Miss Lisa, for children up to age 5, on Friday, July 9.

Beginning Thursday, July 1, Monthly Grab & Go Activities for children ages 3 to 8 will be available while supplies last. The Danger Club, open to participants ages 9 to 12, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13.

Weekly Grab & Go Activities for Tweens, open to individuals ages 8 to 12, will feature a new secret code every Monday with an opportunity to win a special treat. Scratchies for Teens, designed for youths ages 13 to 18, will offer an opportunity to win prizes by placing a book on hold and picking it up in person.

A weekly LEGO Challenge will be held for children ages 6 to 12 on Facebook at 10 a.m. on Mondays.

Ryan "The Bug Man" will present a program for people of all ages titled "Insect Tails and Tales" on July 1. Leap Into Science, an interactive program that focuses on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) topics, will be offered on Fridays, July 16 and 30.

Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary with Jesse Rothacker will present a virtual program titled "Jaws, Claws, Scales & Tales" at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 8.

Susquehanna Folk Music Society will host Andy's Wild Amphibian Show for people of all ages via Zoom at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14.

People of all ages may also attend a Didgeridoo Down Under Program on Thursday, July 15; the Mommy to Clown Virtual Show with Skeeta on Thursday, July 22; and Virtual Nixon Park: Animal Detective on Thursday, July 29.

Art Journaling for adults and teens will be held on Thursdays at 1 p.m. A limited number of free art journals are available at the library while supplies last.

Mystery at the Library, a virtual author event with Clare Mackintosh, author of "Hostage," will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, via Zoom.

Friends of Kreutz Creek Library Branch support group meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the upper pavilion in Emig Park.
