Dining Etiquette Workshop Slated

Lancaster Modern Etiquette will present "Dine With Style: Dining Etiquette for Teens" on Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. at the INSPIRE Business Center, 226 N. Arch St., Lancaster.

The goal of the workshop is to guide youths age 12 and up in how to behave properly in any dining situation. Students will learn the importance of greetings, dinner conversation and other simple courtesies that will empower them be more confident and positive in their social interactions. The students will also receive training on setting the table, eating soup and bread properly, using napkins and utensils and many more useful skills.

Founded in 2020, Lancaster Modern Etiquette is dedicated to teaching the principles of proper etiquette, good manners and kindness. It aims to provide adults and children with polished social graces and the confidence to succeed in social and professional arenas.

The workshop will run for an hour and a half. The price of the class includes refreshments and a dining etiquette manual. The deadline to register for the class is Thursday, April 7. Space is limited.
