Weekly activities include Puzzles and Pals on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m., for people of all ages; pinochle on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., for seniors; tai chi on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., for adults; and a Summer Movie Matinee on Friday, Aug. 21, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with the film to be "Despicable Me 3."

The library will host several story times, all from 10 to 11 a.m. The themes will be "Watermelon Seeds" on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 19 and 20, and "Fireflies" on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 26 and 27.

MCC Stitches will not meet on Saturday, Aug. 22. Meetings will resume in September.

The Sacred In-Between support group will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Aug. 24, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The faith-centered group is for parents who have experienced the loss of a baby. Due to the sensitive nature of the group, it is unable to accommodate children.

A representative of Wellcare will be at the library on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. to answer questions about Medicare Advantage plans.
