Leo and Carol Maynard are the new owners of Zook's Fabrics and Total Quilting Solutions, located at 3535 Old Philadelphia Pike, Intercourse. Getting closer to retirement, they found that working on the completion and finishing of quilt tops was relaxing compared to the stress of the corporate world.

Zook's carries quilting fabrics, supplies and longarm services and offers beginner, intermediate and advanced sewing classes. The shop also features a Bernina Q-24 long arm sewing machine to help customers after finishing the stitching of their quilt top. The sewing machine can efficiently sew the final three layers together. This service can save a customer six to nine months of additional labor in the last stage of competing the quilt.
