World Changer Day Celebrated

On March 19, Lancaster Mennonite School (LMS) celebrated its inaugural World Changer Day, a day dedicated to caring, serving, and giving. The creation of the event was inspired by the school's Love Beyond Distances Day held last spring, which was an event where students and faculty came up with creative ways to serve and love the community safely during the pandemic.

During World Changer Day, students in prekindergarten through 12th grade made goodie bags for bus drivers, gift packs for nurses and patients in pediatric units, uplifting cards and videos for retirement communities, and knotted quilts; packed hygiene kits for Mennonite Central Committee; and beautified their campuses. Their goal was to change someone's world, if even for a day.

Donors also gave to the school during this day and raised over $31,000 to keep an LMS education accessible to children and their families. To learn more, visit http://www.lancastermennonite.org.
