Woodland Owner's Conference set

Dauphin County Woodland Owners Association (DCWOA) will host its 11th annual Woodland Owner's Conference on Saturday, March 11, at the Dauphin County Agricultural & Natural Resources Center, 1451 Peters Mountain Road, Dauphin. The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for registration and refreshments.

Participants will learn more about Pennsylvania forests or maintaining and improving forest diversity on their wooded property. This year's program will feature a panel of experts making presentations on "Forest Pest Management," "Improving Wildlife Habitat," "Climate Change in PA," "Black Bear Management," "Winter Tree Identification," and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to question the panel of experts.

The program is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in forest-related topics is encouraged to attend. An optional boxed lunch will be available for a fee, payable at registration.
