Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Lu Ann Wise will speak on the subject "Do Hard Things," focused on teachings of Jesus that are difficult but that lead to abundant life. Wise resides in the Manheim area and is a retired school teacher from Manheim Central. She continues to be active at Manheim Central through coaching track and serving as a volunteer adviser to the Interact Club, and she also volunteers at Teen Central Manheim youth center. Wise is a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship and is active in women's and children's ministry. A wife, mother, and grandmother, she is passionate about encouraging women in their walk with God.
