The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to its "Rags to Riches" brunch, to be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 9:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Youth Center, 95 S. Wilson Ave., Elizabethtown. The set price is inclusive.

Sue Martin from Elizabethtown will share gift ideas, including suggestions for Christmas. The speaker will be Julie Henning from Souderton, who was born in South Korea and raised by author Pearl S. Buck.
