Women's club plans brunch

The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to a "Thrifty Fashions" brunch to be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 9:30 a.m. at Gus's Keystone Restaurant, 1050 W. Main St., Mount Joy. The set price is inclusive.

Jocelyn Gehman, a vocalist from Elizabethtown, will present special music. The feature will be a fall fashion show from a local thrift shop.

The speaker will be Jean Bisnett, a former nurse and educator from Chesapeake, Va. She will share "The Best Is Yet to Come."
