Wohlsen Announces Promotions

Wohlsen Construction Company recently announced the promotion of Matthew J. Whipple from director of risk management to vice president of risk management and senior counsel. In addition, the company announced the promotion of Roger Ball from vice president of construction for the Delaware Valley region to vice president of construction quality.

In Whipple's new position, he will provide leadership in the area of compliance, risk mitigation and insurance administration. Previously a member of the law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, Whipple has significant experience with the construction, engineering and real estate development industries. Whipple is a graduate of William & Mary Law School and the University of Pennsylvania.

In Ball's new role, he will drive performance enhancements related to quality control and workflows throughout all phases of a project life cycle. He will apply his expertise to assist operations teams across Wohlsen's geographic footprint to implement these enhanced procedures known as the "Wohlsen Way." Ball received his Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University. He has worked in the mid-Atlantic construction market for more than 31 years.
