Willow Street United Church of Christ (UCC) has appointed the Rev. Zachary Wooten as its new pastor. Wooten was scheduled to begin his ministry on Jan. 14.
Wooten earned his undergraduate degree in communication studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He furthered his theological studies at Princeton Theological Seminary and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in leadership studies from Alvernia University. He has served as a co-pastor and associate pastor, honing his skills in leadership, community engagement, and spiritual formation. He is married to Melissa, a native of Willow Street.
