Wickersham Construction Announces Team Updates

Wickersham Construction and Engineering, a design and construction firm based in Lancaster specializing in commercial, environmental, industrial and institutional construction, recently announced the appointment of Matthew Hartman to project executive and the promotion of Benjamin Mercadante to project manager.

A resident of York County, Hartman joins Wickersham Construction and Engineering with nearly 40 years of construction industry experience focused on preconstruction, design/build and project management. He spent 31 years at Hogg Construction managing the firm's preconstruction and design/build services. He held the position of vice president at Dorgan and Zuck before joining Wickersham Construction and Engineering. As project executive, Hartman will oversee the management of the company's high-level projects while serving as the strategic driver for new business development.

A graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Mercadante, who resides in the Reading area, joined Wickersham Construction and Engineering in 2017 after earning his bachelor's degree in construction management. Over the last several years, he has gained hands-on experience with educational renovation projects and water treatment work. As project manager, Mercadante will execute projects independently and work directly with clients to meet the project goals.
