Every year trees are damaged by storms. To support the evaluation of trees and assessment of their potential for failure during a storm, "Are Your Trees Storm Ready?" will be the topic of Penn State Extension's Community Forestry Webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 18. This free, live online event will be held from noon to 1 p.m.

Webinar attendees can expect to be informed about how to prepare trees for storms, which tree species are most impacted by storms, and how to minimize damage to property.
