Samantha Darcas recently joined the Weaber Career Center as manager. According to president/CEO Matt Weaber, she will supervise the Career Center, which Weaber developed to assist applicants with learning about job opportunities and training for advancement within the company.

A graduate of Ashworth College with an associate degree in human resource administration, Darcas has been a recruiter for 17 years, starting in agency staffing and moving into corporate recruiting seven years ago. She holds both a Professional Recruitment Certification from AIRS and a Licensed Vocational Nurse license from Lebanon Career and Technology Center, where she graduated in 2010.

With more than 60% of the Weaber workforce from the Hispanic community, the Weaber Career Center also has a bilingual staff coordinator, Yvy Soriano, on staff to serve the needs of Hispanic job seekers. The center is also resonsible for monitoring and training new employees during the onboarding process.
