The Blue Rock Heritage Center will host the 23rd annual Washington Boro Heritage Day on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington Boro Community Park, located at the intersection of Penn Street and River Road. The celebration will include the Penn Manor FFA tractor pull, which will be held at the adjoining field along River Road.

The event will include a display of classic cars, trucks, and tractors. Craft and flea market vendors will have their wares for sale, and children's activities such as a pedal tractor pull, crafts, and hayrides will be available. Mr. Balloney will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a snake and reptile presentation will occur at 1 p.m. Longshot Stables will bring ponies, donkeys, and goats at noon.

Barry Lee will perform country music at noon. The local chapter of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology will have a display table and will have experts available to identify artifacts people may wish to bring. Circle Legacy Center will have Native American items to display, and both the center and local churches will offer children's activities.

Food will be available, including homemade pies and chicken corn soup.
