Warwick Education Foundation to present gala

The Warwick Education Foundation will present a fundraiser gala, themed "Education Rocks: Yacht Rock," on Friday, May 10, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Foundry 48 (Listrak headquarters), 100 W. Millport Road, Lititz.

Featured will be food, drinks, live music and dancing to the sounds of 1970s and 1980s yacht rock, including the Doobie Brothers, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Toto, Michael McDonald, Ambrosia and Supertramp. Attendees will also be able to bid on and win auction items such as travel getaways, jewelry, sports memorabilia, family experiences, artwork and fine dining.

All proceeds will benefit the efforts of the foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to bring innovative programs and resources to students and educators within the Warwick School District.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their best nautical or cabana attire. There will be a ticket fee per person, and the event is open to adults only.
