Trout CPA, a regional accounting firm specializing in accounting, tax and advisory services, recently announced that Andrew Rice, CPA, CVA has joined the firm as managing director of transaction advisory services. Prior to joining Trout CPA, Rice was a partner with a regional private equity firm.

In his new role, Rice will provide clients with a full range of mergers and acquisitions advisory services, including pre-sale preparation, buy-side and sell-side due diligence, Quality of Earnings analysis and post-close integration.

Additionally, Rice has experience in general management consulting to assist businesses in growth strategy, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) implementation and forecasting. He has more than 15 years of accounting and advisory experience, having begun his career as an auditor with a "Big 4" accounting firm.

Rice has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. He has served on the board of directors for various nonprofit organizations in Lancaster and was named a Forty Under 40 award winner.
