Travel and Adventure Film Series to return

The Rotary Club of Lititz will bring back its Travel and Adventure Film Series this year. On each date, a matinee will begin at 2 p.m., and a second show will start at 7 p.m., with a musical prelude beginning a half-hour before each performance. The events will take place at Grace Church, 501 W. Lincoln Ave., Lititz.

The programs will include "Yellowstone Trails and Tails," featuring Dale Johnson, on Saturday, March 16; "Great Cities of Europe," featuring Marlin Darrah, on Saturday, April 13; and "The Road to Namibia," featuring Rick Ray and including South Africa and Victoria Falls, on Saturday, May 25.

General admission tickets will be sold at the door, with a discount for children. Season tickets may be purchased from any Rotary Club of Lititz member or at the Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz. The season tickets may be used during either the matinee or evening presentations. For more information, contact Dean Brandt at 717-413-0780.

For nearly 60 years, the series has helped to provide funds to local nonprofit service groups, as well as providing college loans and scholarships to many local students. Some of the locally supported groups are four local fire companies, Warwick Ambulance Association, Lititz Warwick Community Chest, Lititz Historical Foundation, Lititz Public Library, Lititz recCenter, and Lititz Springs Park.
