The Education and Scholarship Committee of the Towne Club of Lancaster announced that three students will each receive a $2,000 scholarship to be applied to his or her education at a two-year technical school or college. The scholarship recipients are Alaina Rodriguez, Billy Nguyen, and Logan Reading. The students and their parents were recognized at a scholarship banquet on May 24.

Rodriguez is a senior at McCaskey High School. She plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences to study surgical technology as well as diagnostic medical sonography.

Nguyen is also a senior at McCaskey High School. He will study computer science, especially as it pertains to automobiles. He has been accepted to study at the Temple University campus in Japan.

Reading is a senior at Ephrata High School and is currently enrolled in the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center studying metal fabrication. He will attend Thaddeus Stevens College.
