Tolossa Selected For Academic Project

Etsub Tolossa of Mountville was selected to complete an Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) project at Albright College. Through ACRE projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends, and students work on their projects one-on-one with faculty mentors.

Tolossa, a graduate of Penn Manor High School, is working with Matthew D. Sonntag, assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, on "Structure and Stability of Alkali Borate Glasses." Tolossa is majoring in biochemistry and religious studies at Albright.
