The Well-Led Life posts retreat

The Well-Led Life will host a women's retreat from Friday, April 28, to Sunday, April 30, at South Mountain Inn, 143 N. Galen Hall Road, Wernersville. The retreat will offer Scripture-based activities to its participants and will cover a variety of topics on personal wellness. Registration is required to attend, and the deadline to register is Monday, April 3. To register, visit http://www.bobbiedull.com.

The retreat's activities will be based on four pillars: Rest, Plan, Love and Serve. Bobbie Dull of Quarryville, founder of The Well-Led Life, hopes that participants will be able to use the pillars as a framework to make the changes that they want to see in their lives.

The first pillar, Rest, will focus on different ways that a woman can pace her life so she will be well-rested beyond literally getting enough sleep. This part of the program will offer women resources to help them schedule time to rest and refocus in daily life.

The second pillar, Plan, will offer materials on how to structure one's life to allow space for major life transformations and goals. This includes topics such as how to say no, slow down, live intentionally and enjoy life.

Love, the third pillar of the program, will focus on self-care and utilizing internal resources to actualize one's calling in life. "This means living your purpose and whatever you're called to do outside of loving God and others," Dull said. "We want to fill our cups so that we can overflow that love onto others."

The fourth pillar, Serve, will elaborate on the importance of serving others, whether through working a job or acting as a caretaker at home.

Participants of the retreat will progress through a workbook as they cover each pillar. After the teaching portion of the topic, each retreatant will reflect on the material and have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss with others. In between the informational sessions, women on the retreat will have breaks for meals and other activities. Dull will have a one-on-one follow-up meeting with each participant after the retreat to provide extra support.

This is the first retreat that Dull will offer through The Well-Led Life. Dull was inspired to create the program after weathering several challenges in her own life and realizing that she had utilized a few specific methods to overcome life's obstacles. "It was a super challenging year in 2021, but looking back after coming out of it, I went through these very clear steps that brought me closer to God," Dull said. "Challenging things on the outside led to transformation on the inside. I rested and planned, and it allowed me to serve better."
