The Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster, will open its 2026-27 season on Friday, Sept. 4, with performances offered free of charge.

The Durang Dance Company and Brasswood Trio will present identical 30-minute performances at 6 and 7 p.m. The collaboration of live music and contemporary ballet will feature Durang dancers Danika Steinmetz, Livi O'Byrne, Julie Wendler, Marian West, and Stephanie Martin, as well as Brasswood Trio musicians Dana Newbomb, Anne Nye, and Kendra Bigley.

Nomads + Natives will perform at 7:30 p.m. Husband-and-wife duo Dan and Noele Huie, whose signature sound is built around double violins, are backed by a group of Philadelphia musicians. The band blends elements of soul, Americana, and folk-inspired storytelling. Nomads + Natives' latest album offers modern spirituals.

Lancaster Cupcake will provide sweet treats to the first 100 guests.
