The Susquehanna Valley Community Connection (SVCC) will hold a gathering with the theme "Spring Gardening" on Friday, April 12, in the banquet room at the Fireside Inn, 1500 Historic Strasburg Drive, Strasburg. Beverages will be available at 6 p.m., and a stuffed chicken breast dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

During the event, Indie Kachel, a Master Gardener with Penn State Extension, will provide tips on patio and container gardening. John Portis from Abington will share his life story, and special music will be provided by music teacher and vocalist Heidi Shannon.
