The Dementia Care Support Group will meet at Senior Commons at Powder Mill, 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, on Thursday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. The group is for family caregivers of people who have dementia.

Pauline Jarvie from York Music Therapy will present "Music and Memory." Musical aptitude and appreciation are some of the last cognitive abilities to decline for those with dementia. Jarvie will speak about music therapy and how people may use music at home with their family member to encourage positive memories and feelings.
