Summer Field Trips Planned

The Quittapahilla Audubon Society will offer two summer field trips. The events are free and open to all. There is no need to be a member to participate. For more details, visit http://www.qasaudubon.org.

A field trip themed "Butterflies, Dragonflies and Their Habitat" will take place on Sunday, July 31, at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Stevens. Participants will observe butterflies and dragonflies via binoculars at the Visitor Center meadows. Attendees should meet at 3 p.m. at the parking lot at the Visitor Center.

Butterflies and other insects will be the focus on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Governor Dick Tower meadow. Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at the parking lot at the Environmental Center.
