Summer Entertainment Set In New Holland

The New Holland Summer Arts Association has posted its schedule for the 2021 Entertainment in the Park program. Entertainment will take place in New Holland Area Community Park on East Jackson Street, New Holland. All programs will be from 7 to 9 p.m. unless otherwise specified.

The New Holland Concert Band will perform on Sunday, July 4, with fireworks following the show; Monday, July 5, has been set as the rain date. Other concerts set in July include the following: CAISO Steel Drum Band, Wednesday, July 7; The New Individuals, '60s and '70s music by the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and others, Saturday, July 10; Phyllis Sands, keyboard and vocals, Sunday, July 11; Big Boy Brass, New Orleans-style traditional brass, Wednesday, July 14; The Nomads, '50s rock 'n' roll, Saturday, July 17; and Den & Terry Duo, variety, Sunday, July 18.

Other July acts include Frank, Patsy, and Friends, a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, and others performed by Frank and Trish Curreri, Wednesday, July 21; New Holland Swing Band, classic and contemporary swing tunes, Saturday, July 24; Servant Stage Company's "Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour," Sunday, July 25; Conley & Watson, a classic country duo, Wednesday, July 28; and Party of Five, a rock 'n' roll dance band, Saturday, July 31.

In August, entertainment will feature the Twin Rose Community Band, Sunday, Aug. 1; Rampart Street Ramblers, Dixieland/traditional jazz, Wednesday, Aug. 4; Cody Tyler and Gypsy Convoy, country, Saturday, Aug. 7; Then Sings My Soul, a gospel tribute to the music of Billy Graham, Sunday, Aug. 8; Charlie Zahm, a John Denver tribute and Celtic Americana, Wednesday, Aug. 11; the West Chester Swing Kings, Saturday, Aug. 14; John Stevens Polka Band, Sunday, Aug. 15; Remington Ryde, bluegrass and gospel, Wednesday, Aug. 18; and Mitch and the Mood Swings, rock 'n' roll, soul, and Motown, Saturday, Aug. 21, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The summer program will close with the Fiddlers Picnic on Monday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
