The play, written by assistant director Lauren Grove, has audiences joining Queen Elizabeth I and her closest friends and confidants for a night of gossip and intrigue. Senior Carolyn Clouser is the student director, and senior Jordan Fink is the stage manager. Other cast members include Srishti Gleeson as Anne Russell; Mel Lerch as Helena Snakenborg; Hunter Meyers as Robert Dudley; Wren White as Henry, Duke of Anjou; and Gavin Taylor as Gustav and as Ferdinand I of Austria.

The director is high school teacher Douglas Grove.
