Superintendent Brian Bliss and the Solanco School Board have honored the Students of the Month for December 2020.

The honorees are Jack Kachnoskie, first grade, Bart-Colerain Elementary; Mason Henry, third grade, Clermont Elementary; Luke Musser, second, Providence Elementary; Ben Shradley, fourth, Quarryville; Hannah Perella, seventh, Smith Middle School; Audrey Underwood, seventh, Swift Middle School; and Ian Althoff, 10th Solanco High School.

At a recent school board meeting, the students were recognized for the leadership they provide in their classrooms and schools, their support of their classmates, their commitment to academic success, their participation in school and extracurricular activities, and their consistent demonstration of Solanco's Core Expectations of responsibility, respect, courage, and kindness.

In honor of their accomplishments, the students will receive a Solanco shirt and a certificate for a free meal at The Daily Grind in Quarryville.
