The Garden Spot High School Students of the Month for October are freshman Tia Hollinger, sophomore Justin Eberly, junior Matthew Casey and senior Octavia Nacu. They were honored for demonstrating integrity. High school principal Matthew Sanger presented the students to the school board at its November meeting.

Tia is the daughter of Shelby and Shawn Hollinger of New Holland. Tia is enrolled in several honors classes and is a member of the field hockey team.

Justin is the son of Betty and Darrell Eberly of New Holland. Justin is enrolled in honors courses and has achieved honor roll status since seventh grade.

Matthew is the son of Nicki and Andrew Casey of New Holland. He is enrolled in honors and Advanced Placement (AP) classes. He is also a member of the band.

Octavia is the daughter of Ala and Octavian Nacu of East Earl. Octavia has taken several honors and AP courses and is currently enrolled in the dual enrollment program.
