Twelve members of Lower Dauphin Middle School's orchestra recently attended the District 7 String Fest, which was hosted by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA). District 7 is made up of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties.

Lower Dauphin's festival participants were Sai Harshitha Battula, Anthony Bruno, Makenna Haldeman, Kadie Heck, Willow Kristich, Harper Lennox, Lila Markowitz, Casey Sanders, Eric Smeriglio, Isha Stalin, Jordyn White, and Brynn Woodall.
