Blue Ridge recently kicked off this year's fundraising campaign to support Keystone Military Families (KMF) Stockings For Soldiers initiative, which sends holiday stockings filled with comfort and personal care items as well as Christmas cards to those serving in the military around the world.

To assist in funding this year's goal of 10,000 stockings, Blue Ridge is asking the community to help brighten a military member's holiday season by making a monetary donation through a secure website, http://www.brctv.com/blog/stockings-soldiers-donate-today-make-difference. Donations may be made using PayPal or a debit/credit card through Tuesday, Nov. 30.

For a minimum set donation, a die-cut paper stocking including a special message and the sponsoring community member's name will be tucked into a soldier's holiday stocking.
