St. James Catholic Church to host exhibit

St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, will host a "Marian Apparitions and Shrines" exhibit from Wednesday, May 3, through Monday, May 8. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Freewill offerings will be accepted.

The exhibit presents Vatican-approved Marian apparitions and shrines from all over the world as compiled by Blessed Carlo Acutis. Acutis dedicated his short life to connecting people to Jesus and His mother, Mary, through creating websites. Besides the Marian apparitions and shrines, Acutis created an exhibit for Eucharistic miracles, which was showcased at St. James in October of 2021. Acutis, who was Italian, was born on May 3, 1991, and died on Oct. 12, 2006.

The exhibit will be open on the following dates and times: May 3, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; Sunday, May 7, from noon to 7 p.m;. and May 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
