Three teenage members of the Jesse Jones Composite Squadron 304, Civil Air Patrol recently received awards during a meeting at the Lancaster Municipal Airport.

Cadet Christian Pannell of Holtwood was promoted to the rank of cadet airman and was awarded the Curry Ribbon for completion of his first achievement in the cadet program. He will be issued a voucher to obtain his blue Air Force Class B uniform.

Cadet Airman Lucas Horst of Lancaster received promotion to cadet airman first class and the ribbon for the "Hap" Arnold Award.

Cadet Staff Sgt. Mary Weinheimer of Lititz was promoted to her present rank along with the Wright Brothers Award ribbon. She also received honor credit in the form of silver star attachments for her Curry, Arnold, and Mary Falk awards.
