Manheim Sportsmen's Association, 552 Oak Tree Road, Manheim, has announced its upcoming activities.

The association will hold its monthly membership meeting on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. Members will elect officers for 2022.

The retirees and seniors will enjoy a home-cooked Christmas breakfast at the clubhouse on Monday, Dec. 13, at 8 a.m. Retirees and seniors are welcome to bring their spouse or a friend. Judging for the annual member Big Game Contest will occur on Sunday, Jan. 30, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The competition will include antlers bagged either in Pennsylvania or out of state, as well as Pennsylvania black bears and Pennsylvania wild turkeys. Trophies or gift cards will be presented to all winners at a later meeting.

Concurrent with the Big Game Contest judging, the club will hold a block shoot, which is open to the public. Winners will receive cast or meat trays.

Also at the same time, the club will host its first winter indoor archery league shoot. Shoots will be held each Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and each Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. into early March. For further information, call Doug Fahnestock at 717-314-2396.
