Speech Therapy Clinic To Open In Lancaster County

Kidmunicate Pediatric Speech Therapy, a clinic that provides therapy services to children with speech-language and feeding disorders, will open in Strasburg on Wednesday, May 4, and offer free screenings to children for the month of May.

The Kidmunicate Strasburg-Lancaster clinic will be the third location for this successful practice that began serving youngsters nine years ago in Wayne. The Strasburg-Lancaster clinic will be located at 100 Historic Drive, Strasburg, just off Route 896, south of Route 30.

Kidmunicate Pediatric Speech Therapy will offer a full range of speech-language and feeding therapy for children with short-term issues, as well as those facing ongoing, longer-term challenges. Kidmunicate Pediatric Speech Therapy treats the following disorders: articulation disorder; phonological disorder; fluency disorders, which includes stuttering and cluttering; childhood apraxia of speech, both expressive and receptive language disorders; pragmatic disorder, which involves social language; and oral-motor/feeding disorders.

Eileen Krieg, a resident of Strasburg who has been involved with Kidmunicate over the last nine years, will lead the Strasburg-Lancaster Clinic for Kidmunicate.
