Donegal-Witness Tree (DWT) Daughters of the American Revolution has awarded Faith Siegrist, a graduate of Hempfield High School, its annual DWT Scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship is presented to one senior from a local high school who exemplifies leadership for the future through continuing education.

Siegrist will attend the University of Pittsburgh to study pharmacology. During her years at Hempfield High School, Siegrist was an honors student, participated in activities at school, and served the community.
