Senior Connections, which is open to people age 55 and over, will meet on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown. There will be a meal at noon followed by the program.

The guest speaker will be comedian Gordon Douglas, who started his comedy career in Philadelphia in the 1970s and went on to Hollywood to appear on numerous television and radio programs. He now travels all over the world sharing his program of love and laughter.

Douglas has also started Operation Bellylaughs, sending comedy tapes and DVDs to men and women serving in the military.
