Senior Commons Hosts Egg Hunt, Sets Open House

Residents, staff members, and families celebrated Easter on April 3 with an egg hunt on the grounds of Senior Commons at Powder Mill, an independent, personal care and memory care community located at 1775 Powder Mill Road, York.

Visitation restrictions were recently lifted; during the egg hunt, residents were reunited with their loved ones. Thirteen children and nine families participated in the outdoor egg hunt. Each child received a pastel-colored basket filled with candy, a small stuffed animal, and other goodies and enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Additionally, Senior Commons at Powder Mill will hold an independent living open house on Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1775 Powder Mill Road. Attendees may tour a model apartment, safely socialize with residents, and learn more. Space is limited to ensure social distancing; masks are also required. Preregistration is required and may be completed by calling 717-741-0961.
