Twin Valley High School recently honored its Rotary Students of the Month for April. The awards went to seniors Nathan Sedgwick and Sloane Wolfe.

In March, she was recognized as a United States Senate Youth Program delegate, which allowed her to spend a week in Washington, D.C., and receive a $12,500 scholarship. She recently won the Berks' Best Communications Award and a scholarship from the Polish American Heritage Foundation. Sloane is a member of Actors' Equity Association and the International Thespian Society and is serving her second term as a state thespian officer. She was named an AP Scholar with Honor and a Coca-Cola Scholars Semifinalist, and the College Board honored her with the Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award. She also won the Roger Taylor Four-Way Test Rotary Speech Contest. Sloane serves as a legislative intern for Rep. Paul Friel and a national presenter for Students4Good. Sloane plans to major in political science or public policy in college with the goal of becoming the first female U.S. senator from Pennsylvania.
