School to Recognize Alumni

As part of homecoming weekend, Lancaster Catholic High School will recognize the winners of the 2026 Alumni Citation Awards along with the 2026 Athletic Hall of Honor inductees. An awards banquet will be held on Sunday, Oct. 18, at Conestoga Country Club, 1950 Stone Mill Road, Lancaster. The event will begin with a reception at 11 a.m., followed by brunch at 11:30 a.m. The awards presentation will immediately follow brunch, and the event will conclude at 2 p.m.

The Alumni Citation Awards recipients are Kathy Stengel Alton, Class of 1979, for Outstanding Service to Catholic Education; Teresa Zaleski Hartman, Class of 1981, for Outstanding Service to Catholic Education; and Dr. Michael Lowe, Class of 1998, for Outstanding Professional Achievement. The award was established in 2003 as part of the school's 75th anniversary celebration. It recognizes graduates whose accomplishments, service, and dedication have brought honor and distinction to both themselves and Lancaster Catholic High School. The award is one of the highest honors the school bestows upon its graduates.

The Athletic Hall of Honor inductees are Stephanie Kielb, Class of 2006; Amy Pickard Rieker, Class of 2007; and Nick Downey, Class of 2007. Through their exceptional athletic accomplishments, leadership, and dedication, they have left a lasting mark on Lancaster Catholic High School and continue to represent the spirit and pride of the Crusader community. The honorees' achievements and service reflect the school's values of faith, excellence, leadership, and commitment.
