School Posts Festival, Golf Outing
Lancaster Mennonite School (LMS), 2176 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, will host its annual Spring Celebration on Saturday, April 25, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event is for students, their families, and the broader community.
The school will host an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. A plant sale, a bake sale, and concessions will be offered from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Kids' activities will be available from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and the playground will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Food trucks will be on-site from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., with options including Tri-County Barbecue Catering, Boba & Momo Express, Ember, Kona Ice, and Billy's Tasty Pretzels and Wraps. LMS students will present their all-school musical, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," at 6:30 p.m., and concessions will be available outside the Fine Arts Center afterward.
Benefit auctions will be held, with a silent auction available from 3 to 6:30 p.m. and a live auction taking place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Auction items will include a Step2 Great Outdoors toddler playhouse; the Legend model of the Chicco Corso flex convertible stroller; a farm dinner at the Leamans'; swim lessons at SafeSplash Swim School courtesy of alumna Cassidy Lefever; and tickets or gift cards to Fulton Theatre, Dutch Wonderland, Hands-on House, Lake Tobias, Leisure Lanes, Adventure Sports in Hershey, Penn Cinema, Fox Meadows Creamery, and various restaurants.

In addition, Lancaster Mennonite School will host its 30th annual benefit golf tournament on Tuesday, May 12, at Meadia Heights Golf Club, 402 Golf Road, Lancaster. Golfers can choose to participate in a morning or an afternoon round. Registration and breakfast for the morning round will begin at 7 a.m., and the tournament will start at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be served afterward. For the afternoon round, registration and a light lunch will be available from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., and the tournament will begin at 1:30 p.m. Dinner will be served afterward.
Golfers will have the opportunity to purchase mulligans and enter day-of competitions. There will be a prize for any player who obtains a hole in one on a designated hole. Team and individual skill prizes will be awarded after each round.
Participants may create a women's, men's, mixed, or senior foursome, or they may register as a single or double to be placed with a foursome for the day. The fee includes a meal, use of a golf cart, and entertainment.
Preregistration by Tuesday, April 28, is required at http://www.lancastermennonite.org/events/golf-2026. Sponsorships are available.
Funds from both the Spring Celebration and the golf tournament will go toward making a Christ-centered education at LMS accessible to more students.
