School District Seeks Input
The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors is gearing up for a final decision on whether to close both or either of Mill Road and Rheems elementary schools. At their Tuesday, Oct. 12, workshop session, the school directors will hold discussions to find a consensus on the best option.
In addition, before the Oct. 12 workshop session, the school directors will conduct a second community forum on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. As part of this forum, the board will review the pertinent information that it will consider in determining the future of the schools. In preparation for the forum, the district is conducting a ThoughtExchange to gather final stakeholder perspectives.
To participate in the ThoughtExchange, visit http://www.etownschools.org and click the link on the home page. The Exchange will close on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. After submitting their ideas, participants will be asked to rate the ideas that others have submitted. All responses and ratings will be anonymous.
